It is a disorder affecting neurological development, that is characterized by the impairment of both social interaction and communication. Researchers have found that it has a strong basis in complex genetics, but they are not sure whether the genetics for autism are due to a rare mutation, or common genes that have combined to form a rare sequence. Regardless of its cause, you can see signs of autism from very early on. Autistic infants pay less attention to social stimuli, they smile less, and do not look at others as much as their peers, and even respond less to their own names. 1. that definition of autism is spot on. it describes my nephew to a t. i wonder if there are any good specials needs schools around for him. because he is just staying at one level at regular old public schools.

  2. it is not genetics. scientists have proven that it is inoculations that make kids autistic. shots are more common now, that is why we are seeing autism more. do not let your kids get their shots if you have any. unless you want them autistic.
