Prior to 1776, the United Kingdom collects tax from the American Colonies. However, it was in 1861 when the first federal income tax was adapted as part of the Revenue Act. Over the years tax laws and systems changed. For example, in 1989, 36 states offered their taxpayers the choice to e file their taxes. Then the following year, all states offer taxpayers to e file their taxes. Tax debt problems are therefore not uncommon. And although IRS tax problem may seem inescapable and hopeless, there are tax debt solutions to all the IRS tax issues and problems. Now if you are having problems with the IRS and do not know how to resolve tax problems, the worst that you can do is to do nothing. The best thing that you can do however is to get the right tax debt advice from a tax lawyer or IRS lawyer. Here are some facts about IRS tax issues and how a lawyer can help you with your problem with the IRS.

First, there are IRS tax issues that are related to errors or mistakes. The mistakes can be on your part or on the part of the IRS. Considered to be the easiest IRS form, the 1040EZ has a total of 34 pages of instructions. From this alone you can tell how easy it is to make mistakes with your filing. On the part of the IRS, some IRS tax issues are because they have made the mistake in audit of your return. This is not uncommon because many of the IRS staff are not accountants. More importantly, many are not familiar with the law on taxation, it is therefore easy to make a mistake that may result in IRS tax issues. Now, with an IRS lawyer, he will conduct an audit to determine if there were mistakes and then determine what must be done about it. Now if you do not hire the right legal representation, a simple mistake that can be corrected can lead to garnishment.

Second, there are ways to resolve your IRS tax issues. For example, when it comes to wage garnishments, there are exemptions. Now, there are many requirements for you to be qualified for exemption in the same way that there are different types of exemption. You therefore need an IRS lawyer to determine if you qualify for one and what you should do to be granted the exemption.

Third, an IRS lawyer can help you not just with the IRS tax issues but also with the other related issues and problems with your case. One example is wage garnishment and your employer. It is considered a criminal offense to fire an employee just to avoid handling a levy. In fact, employer that is found guilty of willfully firing an employee because of wage garnishment may be sentenced to a fine of up to $1000 and imprisonment of up to one year. 1. It is true that it is common for the IRS to make mistakes. This happened to me and they almost took my home. I got stressed, got sick still they would not listen. Finally, I hired a lawyer and got things sorted out. No apologies from them of course.

  2. What do you expect? They are the high and mighty IRS. All they want is to get our money. And when they failed to do that to you, they will certainly not apologize.
